Petter Buhagen is an interdisciplinary artist who, through his practice, is concerned with human-made systems and translations of information between digital and analogue formats. By emphasising specific aspects in our relationship to technology, his works invites reflections on topics such as intimacy and publicity, temporarily and archiving, tactility and immateriality, nature and machine.
Buhagen has taken part in several solo and duo exhibitions in Norway as well as numerous group exhibitions in Norway and abroad. He has also been central in operating the artist-run exhibition venue Noplace, Oslo since its establishment in 2011.
Born 1983 in Trondheim. Lives and works in Oslo. Educated at Oslo National Academy of the Arts and The Arts Institute at Bournemouth.
