Our accommodation in Longyearbyen consists of modern, self-contained one-bedroom apartments, each measuring 42m². These warm and comfortable apartments are designed to meet your needs during your stay.

Please note: Residents that are shipping materials and equipment to use during their residency should send parcels to: Artica Svalbard, Postbox 321, Longyearbyen, 9170 Norway

APARTMENT FEATURES

  • Living Space: Each apartment includes a dining lounge, kitchen, and bedroom with a double bed (150cm width). Some apartments have an additional sofa bed.

  • Bathroom: Equipped with a shower, towels and a hairdryer.

  • Amenities: The apartments have Wi-Fi and the kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering.

  • Laundry: A communal washing machine is available in the building.

  • Bedding: All bedding and linens are provided.

  • Entertainment: The apartments include a TV.

  • Storage: The apartments also have an additional storage room, suitable for large suitcases etc

LOCATION

  • Town Centre: The apartment building is in the centre of Longyearbyen a two minute walk from a well stocked supermarket, cafés, restaurants, library, and clothing stores.

  • Artica Workshop: A 10-15 minute walk to the Artica Workshop. Bicycles are available in the warmer months.

VISITOR POLICY

If you plan to have visitors during your residency, please discuss this with us beforehand. All arrangements for visitors must be confirmed prior to arrival, including any additional costs such as extra cleaning.

  • No pets are allowed.

  • We expect our residents to be respectful of their environment and neighbours. Please avoid holding large parties or gatherings late at night to maintain a peaceful living space for everyone.
