Kristina Quintano
Kristina Quintano made her debut in the anthology Hallo i Speilet (“Hello in the Mirror”) published by Aschehoug in 1989.
Having worked in the Norwegian book publishing industry for many years, she has wide experience from a variety of publishers and journals, both as an editor and journalist. Kristina currently runs the publishing company Quintano Forlag, and is also an editor of the cultural magazine 55pluss. In recent years Kristina has been actively involved in aid work in the Mediterranean and Lebanon. This includes running the organisation Salam and the project “Teachers without borders”. She is a member of the Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association, PEN and the Norwegian Union of Journalists, and she has published many articles and short stories. She has a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Oslo, and is a qualified teacher of Norwegian and history of religion.
