Artica Svalbard is seeking an enthusiastic Residency and Studio Coordinator
Working at Artica is a truly unique experience. Located in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, an archipelago situated in the ocean between Northern Norway and the North Pole, we offer the opportunity to work in a creative environment surrounded by art, beautiful landscapes and nature.
Artica Svalbard is seeking an enthusiastic Residency and Studio Coordinator. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the residency programme, working closely with the director and key partners to plan and host the visiting residents and help implement any associated projects. Experience working within an arts organisation, or working as a guide would be advantageous, but is not essential.
This key role is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of artists and writers, helping them to experience Longyearbyen and Svalbard, and share their research and knowledge with our local and international community. You will be joining Artica at a time of growth, with opportunities to shape not only the role but also future aspects of the foundation. Applicants must speak fluent Norwegian and English and hold a Class B driving license.
