Inspiring music and discussions filled the Artica workshop on a blue February day

We had a fantastic afternoon with the Arctic Chamber Music Festival and Charris Efthimiou, Senior Scientist from the Music University of Graz

Thank you to the brilliant percussionists Sebastiaan Molenaar and Åsmund Moen from Arctic Philharmonic who presented a 30 minute programme of classical and contemporary music for percussion. After the music, we heard from Ph.D Charris Efthimiou, Senior Scientist at the Music University of Graz about the many classical composers who developed a fascination with the Arctic and Antarctic regions in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
